From Storyboard to Screen: Illustration Project "Mayan Civilization"

Storyboard for Mayan Civilization | Animation Film Visual Development

(Animation & motion graphics by Ananta Gille)

  • Project: Freelance Animation Project
  • Role: Storyboard Artist & Illustrator (Visual Interpretation)
  • Process: Thumbnail Sketches → Refined Storyboards → Final Frames
  • Tools: Photoshop

  • These illustrations were created for an animation project as part of a freelance commission, covering the entire pipeline from initial storyboard development to final visual execution.

The process began with rough thumbnail sketches to establish composition, pacing, and narrative flow, followed by fully developed frames with refined lighting, camera angles, and character placement. Each stage was focused on achieving clarity in storytelling while maintaining a cohesive and cinematic visual progression.
